Choosing between some 15's.

Disclaimer: I'm a noob to this website, so forgive me if I make some mistakes.

So my current setup is as follows:

A Memphis C3 12" (dual 4ohm) powered by a Memphis SR.500 in a custom ported box tuned to 32hz.

A Kenwood Excelon Head Unit.

Memphis MC 5x7's powered by a Rockford Fosgate Prime 300-4.

All in a big goofy 2004 Ford Taurus, strange car for a stereo, but hey, it's what I've got.

Nothing fancy, but it sounds pretty good. Plus it all cost me $400 brand new stuff, wiring, and installed, a steal in my book.

Not really loud enough for me though, I've been spoiled by my brother's old stuff .(He had an AA Mayhem 15 powered by a competition modified U.S. Amps 2000x.)

Now I know that I won't get anywhere near that kind of output, but I'm looking to move up to a middle of the road 15 hopefully without getting a new amp, but I will if I have to.

I've narrowed it down to a few in my price range:

Sundown Audio SA-15

Skar Audio VVX-15

Ascendant Audio Chaos 15

They all look fairly similar, but the only one I've ever actually heard is the Ascendant, but I don't think my amp is big enough to power it properly. I've heard lots of great things about Sundown, and Skar.

I'm open to other woofers within this price range as well, thanks in advance!

AA rapes hard. And is hands down and without a doubt a more quality sub. Has better parts than the other 2.

FYI. There is no such thing as "new" from skar. Only B stock

Dude, get the AA. IF you don't go AA, get the Sundown. Skar is not something I can recommend.

Not really, I'm a big fan of 15's and I've got the big trunk for one!

I agree, I love Ascendant, they are personally my favorite brand, but it's the most expensive, and it also is rated at 800watts RMS, my amp only puts out maybe 600RMS. I feel like powering an SA-15 properly would be better than under powering a Chaos, but I may be wrong.

Why not American Bass XFL?

I've heard really mixed things about American Bass, what's the price and RMS? I've heard from quite a few people that they are cheaply made and horrible. But some people swear they are great.
