Damn stewi, nice setup. I have a feeling I may be going that route eventually, but right now I'm still in college and something like that would get jacked in a hurry. Too many parking-lot shoppers around to be leaving equipment in plain sight. I would love to do a wall (mostly for looks) but I honestly can't see myself putting so much more time and effort in to making an already slow car even slower hahaha..

I'm assuming you stuck the batteries behind the rear wheel wells or in the tire well, correct?

Thread revival time!

I should have updated this sooner, but I have been extremely busy with work and my last semester of college.

The box is done, I bought the subs in early February and got everything installed a couple weeks ago. I took some extra time to make a decent amp rack, as well as upgrade my electrical setup and front stage.

My Electrical is now set up like this:

1/0 Big 3

Redtop under the hood

Mechman 250a Alternator NEW

2 runs of 1/0 front to back

Kinetik HC2400 in the hatch NEW

** I gotta say, adding the HC2400 and high output alternator have made a world of difference. If you heard it in person you wouldn't believe it was the same subwoofer/amp setup that I had in there before.

I am loving the new front stage - Image dynamics cx64's. I'm running them on a sundown 100.4, and they blow the RSD's I had in there out of the water. I took my time on the install, sealed my doors up properly and deadened them with about 25 ft^2 of raammat bxt. I originally intended on using second skin, but got a hell of a deal on some leftover raammat.

As far as the subs go, I couldn't be happier. They sound amazing off of the 1500w I have been feeding them. I do have the urge to change the box setup around a bit, but it works great right now. I figure sometime this summer I will be doing a bit of glass work and utilizing the leftover space in my spare tire well. I would also love to upgrade to the sundown 2000d, but funds just aren't permitting that right now. Might wait about a year and try to pick up a used one.
