Thread revival time! I should have updated this sooner, but I have been extremely busy with work and my last semester of college. The box is done, I bought the subs in early February and got everything installed a couple weeks ago. I took some extra time to make a decent amp rack, as well as upgrade my electrical setup and front stage. My Electrical is now set up like this: 1/0 Big 3 Redtop under the hood Mechman 250a Alternator NEW 2 runs of 1/0 front to back Kinetik HC2400 in the hatch NEW ** I gotta say, adding the HC2400 and high output alternator have made a world of difference. If you heard it in person you wouldn't believe it was the same subwoofer/amp setup that I had in there before. I am loving the new front stage - Image dynamics cx64's. I'm running them on a sundown 100.4, and they blow the RSD's I had in there out of the water. I took my time on the install, sealed my doors up properly and deadened them with about 25 ft^2 of raammat bxt. I originally intended on using second skin, but got a hell of a deal on some leftover raammat. As far as the subs go, I couldn't be happier. They sound amazing off of the 1500w I have been feeding them. I do have the urge to change the box setup around a bit, but it works great right now. I figure sometime this summer I will be doing a bit of glass work and utilizing the leftover space in my spare tire well. I would also love to upgrade to the sundown 2000d, but funds just aren't permitting that right now. Might wait about a year and try to pick up a used one. Pics coming tonight when I find my camera cable!
