Check this PC build son

Thats def a secy case. I move mine alot between home and work for lan games. I wonder if I grabbed that case by the back I might pull the top of or something. I guess I could always glue it back
Nah man. The thumbscrews hold it together quite well. It wont break. Ive moved mine alot and had no issues

Just need to be careful with it. Panels can bend and such.

In the process of building a decent gaming rig.
So far, I already have a Intel E8400 chip, and a 1TB WD 7200RPM, 32MB drive. The rest of the hardware I'm thinking of ordering is as follows. Any input would be appreciated, as far as saving a few bucks here or there.

I really hate the Antec Three Hundred and Nine Hundred cases ... especially the Nine Hundred ...
It's a little bland, but have you considered the Gigabyte Triton ? It's about the same price as the Three Hundred, but it's better made and a lot easier to work with, in my experience.

Other than that, I'd probably switch to a Phenom II system, but the E8400, P5Q Pro, and PC2-8500 memory are good choices if you want to hit 4+ GHz. You may want to consider a higher-end cooler. Newegg doesn't carry it, but I'm pretty partial to the Noctua NH-C12P.

I would personally buy a thermaltake case + power supply combo, I have had bad luck out of alot of other Powersupllies, but I havent used antec so I cant comment on them, but I have had 10+ thermaltakes with no issue.

When using your thermaltakes how does everything line up? Iv used cases that the hard drive wouldnt sit flat and side panels yould be crooked. Jut curious, thanks.

Thermaltakes are, imo, OEM quality cases. everything fits like a glove, some of there models have complex drive swapping options than can be a ***** to get to line up, but the fit and finish of them is so much better than the crappy chinese built ebay quality cases

here is a pic of my case sorry 1 of the fillers for the cdrom isnt there, I was installing a Sata DVD drive

My next build is going to be in a rack mount server case since i have a rolling 12u rack for it

Lian-Li, Cooler Master and Silverstone are the best cases I have ever owned and if I were to build a tower again it would be with one of those brands

However the Thermaltake Mozart TX almost had me sold a few months back, just wasnt ready to pony up the cash for it

I'd go with the Antec 900 for 40 more. Has better cooling and shit. Since you said something about overclocking youll want better airflow. I've got the Antec 900 with a GTX260 216 55nm and an E6600 @ 3.6 keeps everything nice and cool, especially the hard drive bay, has a 120 right in front and above it with one on the side and the back and a 250 on the top. OTher than that it looks like a BA Rig! I don't like ATI anymore myself bad experiences with there drivers.

It's an E8400 ... You really don't need much airflow through the case to overclock well with it ...

My X3110 (Xeon equivalent of E8400) operates under 40*C @ 3.87 GHz w/ a $12 Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro in a Gigabyte Poseidon case with 2 x 120 mm fans and a mesh side with an ATI Radeon HD 4870 in there.

Besides that, the 900 is a pain in the *** as far as installation, cable routing, and maintenance go ... and I'm not impressed that a $100 case has so much plastic on it. The Coolermaster CM690 is a superior case for less money (usually $30 less). It still boggles my mind how the 900 developed such a great reputation while being so incredibly mediocre for the money.
