Cheaper Lower powered 18s?

Thinking about do a 2 18, daily build for mainly SPL on music.

****What im really looking for are some of the lower RMS 18's, that dont require a huge box, also lower priced as well.... lol**** Im trying to search but im sure there are a few brands out there that im unaware of.

So:

Lower RMS

Doesnt require huge box

Cheaper

What brands offer this?

I'd say DC - I know they like smaller enclosures, but they can get pricey. What do you consider 'cheap'?

Obsidian. AT Strato 18's. SA 18's if you can find them. normally hdc3 18's can be had for relatively cheap. they need a big box though

i didnt know there was a SA-18? Yeah i dont want to give up 12 cubes for 2 hdc3 18s lol, would be nice tho. yea ive been looking at obsidian and AT, leaning more towards the OA. but yea more companys like AT & OA

Pretty much these, I know @Buck ; did a build with 2 stratos but I would go OBi

yea DC is out of the question lol..... but along the lines of OA & Audio Technix, so far obsidian is the cheapest for 2 18s over AT.

I was looking at those, OA's are cheaper then AT for the pair. OA's are 448 shipped & AT's are 460 shipped. i know that aint much but im not familiar with the stratos

I know re audio has some 18s. They're probably cheap for some 18s.

i know they have the SX's and they are like 585 for the pair with honestly is not that bad for 2 3" coil 1000rms 18s IMO, i was looking at those a few mins ago

I would go OA over AT personally Ihhave never messed with the stratos just were along the lines you wanted. The pic is of his stock focus on rims nothing of importance or special. The hdcs were said and they are far from low powered what amp did you plan on running? Maybe even the lowest grade digital design sub I'll ask a dealer tomorrow if you want

Actually it doesn't look like DD offers the 500 and 1500 series in 18s that's weird
