Chaseinbass 96 GMC rebuild sort of ?

Ya...RCA's def. I dunno. I just like to keep things separated to prevent uh oh's later on down the road. Just remembered....my drivers side outside door handle is coming loose. That's a pita to fix.
Ya they are a pita , if there anything like a full size truck ? Or is it in the Tahoe ?

I got the amp rack reinstalled and got the tweeters hooked up two channel mode ( not bridged ) and hooked up the Anarchy’s bridged and they freaking rock - I have so much mid bass it’s crazy ! I was in a hurry hooking it up as I got called out to work while I was doing it and and not really knowing what I am doing lol - I just wanted to have music no subs or mids or DSR1 yet but it sounds amazingly better, I was so stoked and then I found out only one pair of Anarchy’s is playing ? Wow I am going to have even more mid bass ! Another great recommendation from @Jeffdechef ! Can’t wait to have tweeters and mids bridged too and get the DSR1 in there too.

Worked on my stereo all day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I finally figured out why only one pair of Anarchy’s was playing ! I took everything apart and re tried everything and still nothing on second pair but first pair is kicking azz ! Seems there’s 2 gain levels on a four channel amp ha ha ha ! I had a good laugh and wasted half the day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif good learning experience anyways. One I got them playing midbass is unreal ! Next I decided to throw in the Faitalpro neo 3” I got and hook up the Rockford DSR1 and all I can say is wow! This thing sounds so much better now its pretty unbelievable and I have No tuning skills and I am sure a lot more can be done with it. I wish I was near any of you guys that can tune I would hire you to get it there . Well now I gotta redo a pillars for these mids so I can mount them and really see how they do . If they **** I will try Jeffdechefs other suggestion of 5 “ Prv neos in my A pillars but that may be tough to do . But for now I will do the 3” in there with not a lot modifications .

Or you can just keep it 2 way lol active. But yeah man Sh*t completely wakes up when you have ridiculous amounts of power on tap. They handle it just fine as well.
Nah, I am really liking the three way and tweeters are not bridged yet either, that amp has a bad channel so I gotta get another one soon and either make some rca cables or buy some nice ones cuz I got a freakin mess of Y cables and rca cables back there now I gotta get cleaned up . I got a lot of learning to do to get this tuned but I will get it I think. Also I just kinda guessed on gain settings so I prob need to get them all matched I don’t have them turned up to high right now. But I am thinking I need to do that first before I try to start heavy tuning ?

yeah its good to get things leveled out output wise first. Glad to know the initial start up is already looking solid though. Should be getting ridiculous amounts of door rattle from midbass now lmao.. Just another thing to work on your bucket list.

Ya no problems after I turned up both gains on the amps ha ha !

Do these settings sound like a good starting point ? I hi passed the ct2 tweets at 4000 kHz and the faitalpro 3” mids low passed at 4000 kHz and high passed at 1000 khz and the Anarchy’s lo passed at 2 kHz and hi passed at 80 hz ? And I have no idea which slopes to use , I think I put them all 12 dB slopes ?

And thanks for all your help and suggestions, I really appreciate it !

And yes I thought my doors were bullit proof and they got new rattles and vibrations!

You'd just have to experiment and find out what works best. I cant really say since i'm not there to hear it.

I'd start by trying different crossover slops on the low end of the midrange to try to solve any phase issues due to so many speakers and possible dips due to crossover slopes. i usually prefer 24db per octave for that reason with the added benefit of being able to drop the frequency down a little bit. i would honestly do that with the anarchys.

Ya I was playing around with it tonight it really made a big difference in my system ! Easy to see how you could spend hours on end just playing with trying to get it just right lol. I really don’t know what I am doing but reading a lot online and experimenting with it . What I don’t get is I have the high pass on Anarchy’s at 80hz and I know the filters don’t cut off exactly at that frequency but I accidentally hit a 30 hz test tone and my midbass are playing the tone like subs ? Is that because 24 dB slope ? My midbass is bad azz ! I hardly need subs now lol ya right !

Got most of it all done other than fastening some of power wires down and making some Rca cables to get rid of that mess I have , give making some a try ? Don’t look too difficult? Anyone have any input ?
