I have a 1998 C1500 chevy truck with a 100 amp alternator and I was wondering if that is ok to power a Rockford punch 800.2 amp running at 200w rms @4 ohms X 2 ? It all seemed ok till last week when I noticed the volt gauge inside my truck start bouncing back and forth for 13V to 14.2V while I am stopped and idling . I checked battery voltage, charging system voltage with the stereo on and off .I also load test the battery .All my tests showed that everything is good . What should I check next ? I think it might be the battery ,because it is about 4 yrs. old and might be starting to die ? This system worked great when I installed it . Any info would be real helpful

Thanks,

Tony
