FYI guys ANS is clearing out CDT stuff on DIYMA for cheap as well. I bought the set of M0-6 about 6 weeks ago for 100 shipped.

Yeah I saw his. But his price for the HD-65S is $100 add the DRT-26s tweeter $135, the HD-SEX6.2 $100 and then the crossover he doesn't have which is the Ex-560CDiEX thats another $249 thru CDT. So if I bought what I bought thru CDT for $258 shipped I would have been at $335 without the crossover. His prices are good, but their sale is hard to beat right now.

My components and coaxials will be here Friday. Get them installed over the weekend. The Sound Ordnance are ok, but with the little amount of power 50w that I have going to them. They won't last long. If I was to turn up my head unit to 51 where I tuned the amps for max volume, they would be done for. These CDT HD-65.2 Mids, DRT26 tweets, and that Ex-560CDiEX crossover is gonna be a huge upgrade. And I know the HD-SEX6.2 coaxials will sound wayyyy better that the RF R2's I have now.

Now to decide if I want the image tweeters before they go off sale.

The one thing I can say about CDT is that their customer support is top notch. They have answered about 5 questions for me since the sale started and have responded within an hour each time. Even with recommended crossover setting for the mids that I bought.

CDT make good speakers?
I run PHD FB6.1 Pro want to upgrade to CDT ES 6 & ES1200is

Yeah actually they are really nice for the price. I picked up a set of MO-6 Midbass from ANS on DIYMA for 100 shipped and they were going for 130+. A lot of people use them with good results. Them and the Stevens are two of the best right now. I have a set of both sitting here waiting to be put in and tried.

What also helps is the suspensions on them aren’t as tight as a virgin on prom night! Sorry I couldn’t resist using this joke 🤣

Might be the 3/4" - better off-axis response and/or sensitivity could lead to a brighter sounding tweeter. I'm not sure why they recommend moving...
