Car was broken into, now I need a new setup...

Okay, I have a 2001 VW Jetta 1.8t.

I had my amplifier stolen and CD Deck and numerous other things last night, rather bummed if I say so myself....just turned 21 today though, so its not soo bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

I have a few questions, previous owner had new speakers put in, and rewired it up so that all of the speaker wires went directly into the AMP (positive and negative's).

They also had one audio cable running from the AMP to the deck, so my question is , what kind of amp can I get for rather cheap that will perform ok?

I also need to look into a new deck, I am not afraid of buying used either...So any thoughts on what AMP and Deck I should get? Deck just needs to have a 2.5mm or 3.5mm audio in, or another type of Audio in.

Get an alarm and some tint first.

for a cheap amp, I had a 4 channel crunch that wasnt bad.

I had 20% tint...10% on the back....I think that is what made them want to get into my car in the first place, at least insurance covers tint and window! I also have an alarm...it went off, so they popped the hood and removed the battary TOO...big wtf there!

Sucks to hear about your car getting broken into like that, need to get a backup battery for that alarm and hide it somewhere good.
