when the guy hit me in my cobra i was driving down the road getting ready to stop cause traffic was bad in a school zone. he didnt look pulling out of the driveway of the school and hit me in the drivers door (t-boned). he tried to say i passed 6 or 7 cars on the right waiting to make a left turn into the parking lot. well the car in front of me turned in so he figured he was safe to pull out for a sec, well that car was right in front of me so when he turned i pulled forward to pull up to the next car. ****er hit me, now i have a new truck.

i dont know how his insurance is still fighting that. he was cited on the spot for wreckless exiting of private property. which is always your fault in cali if you are exiting a driveway onto a public road. stupid insurance.

I grew up in houston, and i know that intersection is a bad one. Sorry to hear about your car, You should sue the hell out of them, for personal injury

You really think I could get money out of this injury and my girls sore neck? Im not employed right now so I couldn't claim lost wages im just not sure how this works.

when we got hit i went to the doctors and got xrays and said my kneck hert i got 100 bucks

Im not sure if it will work now, but as soon as you can (especially your girl with the hurt neck)i would go to a hospital, Maybe in the morning after you sleep, and tell them that her neck hurts horribly, and go talk to a reputable lawyer, Not an "abulance chaser" or one of those TV lawyers. And they will tell you what your legal options are. But now days with todays laws you can almost sue anyone for anything.

I would try it, especially since that the person that hit you tried to lie about it and acuse you. I would not try to sue some little old lady that cant see and accidentily hit me.

Not insurance fraud, if he or is girlfriend as a real injury (and who is to say what is and what isnt an injury acecept for a judge or a jury of your peers) To me if my neck is killing me and i have to go to the hospital i want to get paid for the visit and the incovience of going, and if you have a job get paid for lost wages. I in no way implied that he should fake an injury and try to screw the person over. Even though the person did try to screw him over by trying to blame him for the accident. So what goes around comes around.

Like the person who hit you, her insurance will go up a lot anyways so **** her... but every year when insurance companies realise how much money they make and are getting sued for.... they end up bumping up their rates for everyone if it is not good. I say sue for what you need. If you just "want" money out of this then don't sue for it.

But if it's a true injury, get what you can out of it. The person hitting you is an *** for trying to lie about shit too. Too bad on losing a car... Whenever I am in a close call (almost getting hit or whatever) I think about how much life would **** without my car (and I only drive a crap car lol).

I used to have 1991 ford explorer until i got my new truck. A month after i got my new truck my dad was driving the explorer and some ***-hole hit him flipped the truck and then tried to leave the scene. Well the police ended up catching them but big surprise they didnt have insurance, and since the old truck was old we only had liablility on it. So we sued them for the Blue book price of the truck and for personal injury and lost wages. We ended up getting compisated for our losses and a little extra, so sueing is well worth it if it is in good context

If you want to get paid for your hospital visit and expenses, you should by all means. But if you sue him just get get money because you don't have a job, then you're a bigger douche than he is.

Dude if you are really injured, which you seem to be i would sue, and i would definatly sue them for the cost of your truck, because the insurance company is gona give you the least amount of money they can.

well the accident was clearly the person who hit your car's fault. I think you will realise the money you get out of this will be even more than you need.... and that's before saying injuries and stuff you had. I had my car hit, and the person did like $1,200 worth of damage... I was sore but not injured, never went to the hospital and I ended up getting almost double out of the case... if I were to lie, I could have got even more.

I guess it's just doing what's morally right too... lying just to get more money is good in ways... but why be greedy. Get what you can for the right reasons. I don't blame you for being pissed either... especially since the ****er lied. I think you will get a lot anyways.
