Car stereo with simultaneous AUX and USB audio playback?

So, here's the deal... my gps unit has a 3.5mm audio output, so I figured why not connect it to my stereo... but the thing is, I still want to listen to music in the car... while at the same time receiving voice commands from the GPS unit.

Playing the audio from the GPS itself is not an option unfortunately...

A perfect solution would be a stereo that would switch to the AUX input whenever there was sound coming from it and then return to the USB audio playback / CD / Whatever it was playing when there's nothing coming from it.
