Car Starting

is it normal for your car to drop below 12 volts when starting, mine seems to do this quite frequently, some times also hesitating? whats causing this? my audio system?

2006 chevrolet malibu 3.5l v6.

what battery? what are you running system wise (subs amp big 3 etc) and how old is the batt?

new batt, big 3 with 0 guage, 0 guage run, 2 sa 12s rockford fosgate 15001bd

have your alt checked it might be on it's way out and not properly charging the battery.

okie dokie thanks guys, it usually starts up good, but sometimes hesitates, although sometimes i listen to the radio on 15/50 or something with car off for maybe 10 mins, but i dont think i do this all the time when it happens, meh..
