car shocking me

The only time I've seen a shock resulting from aftermarket equipment was with some defective neon pedal covers. Neon systems use a stepped-up voltage and in this case you could definitely feel a high-voltage tingle when you touched the metal, not a static-type pop.

I always hold the door on my way out, keeps me from getting zapped. There was a recall on my model car for static charges setting off the airbags; But I dunno if mine was serviced or not. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I posted the same thing on here a few weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure it's just your seats, mine are cloth i'm guessing yours are too. It happened to me everytime i shut my door so i guess i finally started to remember it does it when closing the door.
