Car occasionally wont start!!

ever since i installed my HU, im having trouble starting my car in the mornings. Sometimes itll start no prob, but other times it just wont spark. do you think it might be a fuse of some sort?.. or maybe its just my battery, i had a system scan done on my car at midas, and they said all my electronics were fine, and that there was nothing wrong with the alternator, OR the battery. Maybe this misdiagnosed it?.. have ne clue?

I figured it would be a battery problem. You could take out your HU for a little while and see how it starts then or put in a different HU.

Car manufacturer, type, year, ect. would be very helpful....

I had a similar problem with my 95 Chevy Monte carlo. It turned out to be the ghey VATS security system. (That stupid little resistor thingy in the key).

does it eventually start on its own, or do you need to get it jumped?

Slow drain possibly. Did you hook up your HU power to the wrong place so it is staying on after you get out and turn off the car?

If thats not the case, then maybe the battery doesnt have the balls to turn the motor over in the morning because of the cold.

So if its not the HU install, then maybe try a new battery.
