Car Audio Pet Peeves

Everyone has to have car audio pet peeves...here are some of mine, lets all share:

- arrogance of local shops

- sub x vs sub y threads

- 'sub x sounds better than sub y because i heard them both'

- 'sub x is louder than sub y because i heard them both'

- people that downtalk things they've never heard/touched/seen/etc.

- the dutch

- people that claim they have something when they clearly don't

- people that claim they are something when they clearly aren't

- people that sit in my car and ask how many watts max my head unit puts out, then when answered question why I do not use the head units internal amplifier.

- Steve and Mark

- people that think there is a difference between 2000 watts and 2010 watts.

- people that claim something is better than another because that something is made by so and so company.

- Lowballers

- excessive post *****s- I do it from time to time but some people take it to the extreme...

- People that ***** about a thread/post I deleted when it contained useless/distasteful content.

Amplifiers effect Sound Quality

Capacitors are usefull and the cure all to dimming lights in audio systems.

Under powering will damage speakers

Wire sounds different

The annoying idiot driving by my house with the bass cranked, and all who generally follow this behavior.

Why not? The above all seriously make me re-think why I should even bother with car audio any further.....

People who play their music loud with the following results:

TRUNK RATTLE

Distortion

People who pull up beside you and can here a slight bump come from your car so they turn their music up to compete with you!

Car Audio Dealers who trash talk products that aren't sold in their store.

People who pay tons of money for mainstream equipment just because of the name.
