What do you mean the gov't cant control weed..like quality control?...I know the only messed up weed now is laced..but thats only from people trying to make more money off of brickweed...I dont think it would exist in a legalized world..I mean how does amsterdam control it?....I know part of there enforcment is that you can only have som much at a time...

They can't truly enforce it because you can grow it at home. Grab a seed, plant it, and watch the magic. Sure they could have a limit as to how much you can legally own; but they're having a hard enough time controlling usage while it's illegal, so things wouldn't be any easier if it were legal.

Don't know who all that's directed at, but I'm 25 and have shit half way figured out...I own my own business and am partners in another, nice house, few cars, happy family.

I'll look back in my book and be pretty happy that I "know everything there is to know about life".

Yeah DARE did say that......but how much do you really care about drugs in 5th grade...all you care about is the hot chick and recess..DARE should be put in 8th grade..that I think would have the most effect...personally though I think they should legalize all drugs..I mean the people who want them are going to get them...at least this way we could benefit from the taxes put on them. Also take away the billions of dollars they put into the war against drugs..there's more money for are goverment to work with..Also with the legalization of drugs, will be a boost in our economy..not only through the sales of them but legalized drugs would be a hell of alot cheaper even with the taxes, that gives people more money to spend towards other things, in turn boosting the economy...thats just my splurge...I could go on forever but I'll stop..let someone else chime in

Actually the age of drug use is getting lower and lower. There are people trying drugs way before 8th grade.

i didnt read ur whole post.but i caught this.
Amsterdam has a less % of ppl who smoke weed than America.thats % not amount.so legalization doesnt affect it at all.the DARE people even stated in congress or wherever they meet to ask for more money,that DARE hadnt worked at all really.and that it didnt affect the number of ppl using.

I'm not talking about DARE. What's true in Amsterdam is not necessarily true in the U.S.

I believe the use of weed would increase. Look at it this way there is a certain percentage of people staying away from it because it is illegal. Once its legal they will use.

It was directed to some highschool aged teens. When I was in school, especially highschool, I thought I knew better than my parants, teachers, and most other mature responsible people. My dad used to tell me ""Son since you already know everything, then you need to write it all down in a book so when you become old and stupid like me (my dad) you can read it"" It was his own way of telling me that I had no clue. Never thought at that age that I would ever be saying things my dad said or ever acting like him. Smoking pot got me addicted to car audio.
Back in highschool one of my buds smoked me out for the first time, and put some bone in his system (two 15s, don't remember the exact models).

I was hooked. Nothing will compare to the awe and beauty of how that system sounded to my new set of ears.

I would buy the herb, bring over my cd collection, and happily smoke him out while we listened to his system.

Hooked.
