depends on the vehicle, you would have to call and ask them. definitly worth the call if nothing else. they made me a 200 amp alt that does 285 amps at 6krpm... 16x amps at idle...
and i agree with the above, you wont be making that kind of power with your standard electrical system

How much did that cost you?

I've got a 120 amp alternator that I would like to get rebuilt and I would like to know about how much it would cost.

my 200 amp cost me about $225.

the shop that built it is a small local outfit, but i would be more than willing to give them a call and see if they would be willing to do some business out of state and ship it. im sure they would be willing, like i said, they are small and could probably use their business. i have known several people around here that have used them, all with great results.
