What would be the difference between a nicer 5f cap like from clif audio and a 100f cap from a crap company like lanzar? i think there both the same: hybrid caps. Would 100f be total over kill for a 6000watt stereo?

1 farad would be a complete wast in any system... any capacitor would be a waste in any system...

capacitors are the pyramid scheme of car audio...

What does this 6000 watt system include? Not trying to flame but if you're here inquiring about capacitors I have serious doubts as to whether you have 6000 actual watts worth of audio (or anything even closely approaching it, really)

That is my car, thanx... i have an 18" solox kicker (5000rms, 10000peak), 200amp alt, ma audio hk4000d (4000rms), im going to get a kinetik 2400 battery or mabe 2 of them.

might i suggest getting a better alternator and a smaller battery? might save you a bit of money, and i can give you the name/number of a shop a couple hours away from you that can build you a great alt for a great price.

Have you made the necessary upgrades to feed that MA Audio amp 17+ volts?

If not you'll never see 4000 watts out of it.

The Hard Kore-series MA amps need 17 volts+ to yield their top output.

how many amps would it have?

depends on the vehicle, you would have to call and ask them. definitly worth the call if nothing else. they made me a 200 amp alt that does 285 amps at 6krpm... 16x amps at idle...

and i agree with the above, you wont be making that kind of power with your standard electrical system
