you bought a ported prefab box and a cheap kicker woofer. there really is no way for us to know what is going on. we dont know what the box is tuned to, what the settings are on the amp or the head unit. if you placement is causeing transfer problems or possibly some cancellation issues also the specs you gave us on the woofer are 1 wrong ad 2 useless.
what you need to find out is
1 the t/s parameters for the woofer
2 the box size and tune as well as how much port area you have.
3 configure your settings on the head unit. i use the head units crossovers and turn the amps xover off or usually turn it up to max..
4 set the subsonic to about 20-25 those pots(the knobs for the settings) sometimes aren't very accurate. I wouldn't even worry about it unless you hear bottoming..
5 list the car, music give us an idea of where the box is etc.
after being on the forums for 15 years im not just going to guess as to what kinda **** you got going on. its your responsibility to understand the basics..
