Can you run just one coil on a dvc sub?

it really depends on a lot of factors. Most often, it isn't good to run just one coil. It changes many of the parameters of the subs, and even box requirements. However, if it is a low end, or lower powered sub, you are probably safe.

I'm buying the tc 10 oem and I going to use it in my house till I put it in a car. Problem is my plate amp can only handle 4 ohms but I'd like to have the dvc for when I move it to the car.
