Do you think $80 for the pair was a fair price?

They are BNIB eventhough they are they are like 9 years old.

Didn't really want to let them go but also didn't want to just let them sit in the closet for another 9 years either.. well.. I'll use the $80 towards my new set of subs.

Honestly, if your saying that your tastes have changed, and you are now able to put more money towards good quality equipment, why even consider the audiobahn's? The company is out of business and the subs aren't SQ subs to the best of my knowledge (you did mention you want SQ as opposed to SPL, correct?). There are much better SQ subs out there that I would put the money toward to buying. If your doing one ten, your probably not going to running a lot of power to it because you want SQ and not loudness, and you certainly wouldn't be using a mad high powered amp or any sort to power them, so go with something that's new and modern and actually has a warranty on it

I only reason why I even considered using the Audiobahns at all was because they were subs that I already had sitting around. Unfortunately, the cost to build a box correctly for them outweighed their value, which is why I ended up selling them... that along with the fact that perhaps I might not enjoy them as much as I remember... especially now that I am somewhat older.

They are gone and I have moved on.

I think you coulda made a little more off them. they do get loud, just sound sloppy.
