And why would I be lying on here? It's very possible to hit what I'm hitting with what I'm running. SPL is because of what... cone space, watts, and the box. 48" of total cone, 1500 watts, and a big ported box and it is very possible to be hitting what I am. Like I said people like to talk s*** about what I have on these forums cuz Alpine is an already made brand so they don't like it, just what I was told. Anyways, later.

NO, we just hate dumb fukk amatuers like you who THINK they know what they are talking about. IN NO WAY are we dissing ur equipment at all...and in NO WAY is alpine of bad quality. All EVERYONE (who is thoroughly more experienced than you) is saying is that with that equipment...and ur utter lack of knowledge...(as shown by some statements in the above post) there is NO WAY you even hit 150 db's much less HIGH 150s. I mean honestly...if u knew anything about competing or db levels (which we now know u don't) then u no that it wouldn't happen. I mean, type r's are great subs for $94, they have good SQ and decent SPL for that price. But in NO WAY are 4 of them capable of 150+ db's with less than 400 watts going to each one. Also..." 48" of total cone"...lmao, yeah...what matter is cone area, displacement, BL, fs, and most of all box, it's tuning, port area, and littles secrets inside. Doubt u know anything about that at all...your equipment is quality equipment, but it IS NOT 150+ db equipment or setup. Only person i'd trust if they sad they hit 150+ with that equipment would be sum1 like p4s...or nate munson. but yeah...u prolly have no idead about them either. so, stick around...and MAYBE you'll learn how to eventually break 150...it takes knowledge...and more spl based equipment than u have. peace

Haha riiiiiiight ok man, whatever you say. Every system is different man. Like I said befor... everyone talks s***. Unless it's an Elemental Design, XXX or one of your favorite internet brands there is no way of it souding good or having high SPL. Plus no I haven't been in car audio as long as you guys have, but the people that help pick, design, and build my system with me have. I've heard ED and wasen't too impressed, plus I didn't feel like spending $300 on a sub or $400 for a XXX. Plus yes I only got 375WRMS going to them, but even if I hook up another and and push 600-700 to them I'll pick up what, 1-2db. You think Type R's are incapable of high dbs... you can think what you want. Though you think that kid's 2 15" e15a's will hit 150... unlikely. Anyways you havn't heard/tested my system and many other people/shops have and they are extreamly suprised at what mine has/can do.

sure as hell know much more than you ever will. You can have fun in ur "world of falseness" when we all know the real truth. Also, i also sed...u MAY have gotten that score on a OLD AC mic...which is loose/less accurate...and maybe not in the proper place...ie: not at the dash. But yeah...today...on a NEW AC mic, a linX, or a termlab USB it would be nothing...high 140's at the VERY most. just to let you know...peace

Well, its for sure a BS score on the new mics which make everyone feel like their systems are weak. But depending on what kind of mic I measure my system on, it is very possible to break 150. Now it may not be certified or anything, but whos to say what mic is more accurate than the others anyway? T-labs claim to be some of the most accurate, so do LinX, a lot of people use Audiocontrol, and they will all give different readings. So then which is one is truly right?

So final word, I can break 150, just not on every mic (esp. the new ones). But thats wasnt the point of the thread, I just wanted to see who in here uses dialy drivers at my level or louder than mine to see what you got, I wasnt saying mine was the best ever....

Oh yeah, and Alpine CD9815 your full of shlt. Enjoy your subs, but the XX EDA and Brahma are better in SPL nad SQ, I like type R's, but until you get more experience dont start no sh*t wont be no sh*t

Theya re trying to sell you stuff from THEIR STORE, why would they recomend other products? Plus those guys say stupid shit all the time, and my system probably cost half as much as yours, sounds better, gets lower, and is louder.

Plus my system is better then most people's systems, it's loud, clean and I'm happy with it, haven't heard anything louder yet and I've seen/heard a lot of stuff. How can u say ED is overrated? U obviously havent heard any ED subs. They wouldnt be talked about so much on this forum is their price for performance wasnt anything but awesome.

I would like to see pics. from what i read so far, ur running 4 12" Type R's of 2k watts? What box do u have them in? id love to see pics, im sure its loud as hell and sounds great TO THE EAR.

Loudness to the mic is much different. That is why everyone is saying ur bulllshiting. I dont believe u hit 150 either. Thats ridiculous.
