Errrr yeah I know a lot of people with better daily drivers than you got. I myself got about 2000WRMS (may upgrade to 3500 later), 4 12" subs and running in the high 150dbs... and sound clean as hell. Not gonna say what I'm running cuz people in these forums always talk s*** so. As of everything else 90% of the SQ and SPL in the system is from/in the install. It's not really nice to try and brag anyways.

Well, I'm sure I wouldn't beat you. But looking at the picture of your install there I'm sue I'd kill you on your install. Being a "daily driver" wouldn't you want to spend some time making it look nice too.? But I guess to each his own.

I agree.. sounds like a questionable meter.. in a questionable position..

4 Type R 12's in a rather basic 4th order bandpass with an RF 1500..

I can see it maybe doing an upper 140 on a decent meter on the dash..

Yes it was harsh and I do apologize. but he was braggin about his SPL and his install is mediocre at best. Where as with me, my SPL is low but my install and SQ are up there a little ways. I seriously doubt that Bumpin Doug could meter 150 on the dash...

Because I know what subs you run...

If you're only pulling 154-56 on an AC, there is no way in hell this guy is doing that with Type Rs.

Plus...Audiocontrol means dick to me. The newTermlab and LinX are the only two I'd trust.

exactly....that guy must be on a old AC mic...like IN the port or somethin, lol. Yeah, also...no offense to the guy...but i highly doubt he has anywhere near enough knowledge to pull of 150+. yeah...and dustin, we need to talk...hit me up on AIM when u see me. peace

i never did get to try myself on a linx or termlab, would have liked to though.

What frustrates me is anytime someone talks about a Score... The comes a whole Conversion (some times pissin contest) of whos MIC or software.... Maybe I don't know enought about it (would like to learn) there needs to be a ANSI standard or some standard of what a DB is...

I mean every time its like "I hit XXX.xx....

Was it on this mic, this mic or that mic??? In my opinion it should be a DB is a DB...

People spend from Hundreds to thousands of dollars on these systems and pay from 15-30.00 or more jsut to get them metered, not to mention what it csts for competitions and then you can't even reliably post or say your results without being scrutinized...

Anyone else agree with that, or am I looking at it wrong???
