Can someone please verify this PORT design (should be simple)

The dimensions of the box would be

outer dimensions: 15" high, 32" wide, 24.5" deep.

with a Net of 4.05 cu. ft.

THE PORT: I have would be 2" wide, and 22" long to tune it to 32Hz.. Is this right??

alright, now Im SOOOOOOOO CONFUSED!!! I got a website telling me to do 4.5" wide and 30.8" long for 32Hz... IonSql who we all know knows what he's doin says 4.5" wide and 26" long, and I have someone from SSA telling me 2" wide and like 26" long, so I don't even know what to do now

your port can be any size you want it to be. But as long as the port face area varies, the length will vary.

what mp3pimp is saying is you wnt more port face area, so the excursion of your subs doesnt creat port noise.

ahhhh got ya... ya see thats initially what I wanted, but it was designed with the wrong size...thats why i'm trying to get another port design
