when i turn my deck up to not even half my speakers that arnt hooked up to amps cut out (their stock) iv had 2 different decks in it and they both did the same thing ... so why is it doing that? i mean sure their only stock but their better then my old topaz speakers and they never cut out haha.... give me your input please...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

 
because they're stock. your HU is probably pushing 40-50W to them and they can't take it so they seize. get new speakers man, even cheapos can take that kind of wattage. go get a cheap set of coaxials or something...

No.

99% of HU's only produce around 4-12 watts per channel. Depending on the signal being driven and the output lvl. There is no way a speaker can seize from the power. Either they are blown, on the way to blowing, or there is a connection problem.
