Can someone help me with my problem?

Well, the amp Im using is a Clif Designs 4800 model. I think it shouldnt matter the amp though, is there a deck setting or something Im missing? Do you leave BOTH rcas connected too?

Thats what I meant I assumed someone with that amp would know I wasnt talking about RCA voltage seeing the highest rca output voltage I have ever seen is only 8 volts
Thanks for clarifying it.
I think we're on the same page. I would hope someone with that amp would know the voltage it takes.

Is there a sub level volume on the deck? I know mine has one...try and check that..

Also try and see if they rate their amps at 17v....I know MA used to do that before...

I have the spec sheet for the amp in front of me.

Input Sensitivity is: Min. - 7.6V TO Max. 312mV

The supply voltage for the specs was 13.8V

I dont know if those numbers are useful in finding the problem.

Thanks guys for the help so far!!

Oh, and when I unplugged the rcas from the amp and put the DMM on them with the same DMM setting, 2 clicks to the left,

it just shows all zeros, no movement. What should it read at?

4 clicks left to measure rca

2 clicks right to measure speaker terminal AC current

Have you checked you batterys in your dmm. I waisted two hours one day because my battery in my dmm where shit.

What kind of electrical system do you have.
