Can someone help me determine box size/plans

Ok well yeah just finished building a box and it doesnt fit in my trunk so I am going to have to start all over again which sucks.

Its for a 15 inch Fi SSD and I want it tuned to about 33 hz

Its going in the trunk of a 1994 honda accord and I really dont know what size box I can fit in there now. Definitely can not be as deep as my old one and it would probably be good if it was a little shorter. I dont care if the sub fires up or back

The cutout only needs to be 14.125 so its not bad

ok, what i would do if i was you, i would see how much your last box was too big by, like if it was 4 inches less deep, and like 1" less tall, it would have fit. then design a new bow to the largest size the sub needs, and play with porting till it gets to 33hz.

I cut down the old box until it would fit and these are the max specs I could get and fit it in there

Is that design not good enough?

idk, what does the sub call for the box volume to be at? it aint just building a box to fit. if that sub calls for say 3.5 cubes ported, then you want to get as close to that as possible. from your first fail box, to this new design, you lost what ?10-11" in depth?

the last drawing was 2.87 cubes. thats tight for a 15". but again it may not be. what does the sub require? then build from there.

Ported box: 3-4 cuft @ 33Hz

Sub OD: 15.625”

Cut ID: 14.125”

Mounting depth: 8.000”

Displacement: 0.17cuft

So thats way to small then?
