Can someone design me a simple box

Needs to be 48 wide, 19 tall, and 20-26 deep witha 80-120 in^2 slot port, tuned around 33-35. Its gonna be for a 18" Q.

I had designed it with the re calculator but searched and saw that its way off... and it comes out really screwed up on subwoofertools.com

What's way off about it? Go back to it and enter the following:

Box Width: 48

Box Height: 19

Top Depth: 22

Bottom Depth: 22

Wood Thickness: 0.75

Port Width: 6.5

Port Length: 0

Should land you right in that ballpark..

you did something wrong on RE calc.

you got a snap-shot of you numbers on RE?

k i entered it and it looks good but is what i saw some people were concerned about is how the port lengths dont match... it says port length 1 is 14.75 port 2 is 0, but total port length is 25.25!!!???

edit: yea i saw that and fixed it... theres still a 10.5" difference... if u subtract 6.5" theres still5 inches not counted for

Port length is measured right down the very center of the port. Not the port wall itself.

EDIT: You entered something wrong if your port lengths are 18.25 and 26.X total.

its called end factors.

re calc is always within .4 of an inch of winISD.

On subwoofertools enter 48 x 19, 18" round, 24 Xmax, .23 Cu.ft. displacement, 1 woofer, 8 cubes Net and 34Hz. That should look a bit more like a rectangle. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
