There isn't a "kit", Buy some 0 gauge wire along with some ring terminals for said wire.

nevermind I got ring termanals and my uncles a electrion and he said I can use some 0 gauge, now for the last question... how do I hook this up?

Big 3 is in a sticky on the forum. Can't just cut a hole in current box, doesn't work that way.

so its jus strait from the alternator to the batter? I know theres more steps but will that stop the sudden loss of power and amp drop?

Electricity uses the path of least resistance...so yes the bigger wires will help with the electrical strain.

well I'm going to be getting this done soon hopefully my uncle said I could pull into his garage and he has all the stuff and he has done the big 3 upgrade to his tahoe so I'll make a video when I'm done and I'll make sure to give you all credit for helping me!! thank you

What size box is it?What amp is it? Do you have good electrical on it? What is the ohm load to the amp?

I would for sure turn the box around, facing the rear, and you could probably use a ported box to gain a lot.

Ported, done right , will sound almost twice as loud.

in all honesty depending on the amp you are using you might get away with that 78a alt upgrade and the big3. i doubt there is much requiring power in that car. does it have power anything? a/c? manual or auto?

also agree with quack, get a ported box unless all you listen to is metal,classic rock, country. then maybe stay sealed

OP, WHAT AMP ARE YOU USING??...this and whether the subs are not wired out of phase?...are the other speakers wired to the same amp too?? What is the Voice Coil configuration of your subs?

Bull crap, I am 43 yrs old and listen to everything from Country to Dubstep...And I will not suggest anyone run sealed. I'd rather tune a port and use good EQ than go sealed.
