My 1971 Plymouth Scamp with SUBS! (name of video on youtube)

man I had the same subs up until week before last and they are not seeing full power! It may be your HU pre outs are very low, when I first bought my car it had a cheap HU in it and my RF T1000.1 would not get loud due to the low voltage on the pre-outs.

What size box is it?

What amp is it? Do you have good electrical on it? What is the ohm load to the amp?

I would for sure turn the box around, facing the rear, and you could probably use a ported box to gain a lot.

This. What you are running as far as electrical would be a nice starting point for us to help you.

all I know is its ran off the origanl battery with 55 amp alternator, box is sealed idk the size and the power cable runs strait to the battery but I'm also powering 2 6x9"s 2 4" and a kenwood aftermaket radio, also I was wondering, I know I need a bigger alternator cause after maybe 10 minutes it drains the battery and powers off the amp so would a 78 amp alternator do? theres only a 6cyl and I'm not planning on adding to my system... mainly cause my dad didn't know I had this all put in my car lol

I'm thinking about just doing a bigger alternator and doing the box idea rather not because the box was... a really pretty penny..
boxes are a dime a dozen when you learn to build them and as far as tools a good saw a few clamps and a straight edge a tape and some patience! this was about 80.00 bucks and took 8hrs.
