Ok all you experts, there is nothing in the specs or on the web, but based on the specs, can i run my sub in an infinite baffle setup? Any help would be great, as the sub already sounds great, i'd love to play with it IB. Thanks in advance all! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Here are some specs

Power Handling (Rms / Peak):

1000 / 2000 watts

Frequency: 30Hz - 500Hz

Nominal Impedance: 4+ 4ohm

Sensitivity (1W / 1M): 89.9dB

Fs: 36.390Hz / Vas (Liters): 35.680

Qts: .57

The Qts is probably the most important spec (along with Fs) that determines whether a driver is suitable for IB...and at .57, it's reasonably close to 0.6, which is considered the bottom end for good IB drivers...

Go for it. Just remember that power handling is severely decreased when running an IB alignment - you'll reach Xmax much sooner than you would in a small sealed (and certainly ported) box.

But also remember efficiency is much greater. You should NEED as much power for the same output. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Cool. So if the sub was powered with between 1500 and 2000 before, what do you think will get it going now? Is 1000 too much? Maybe 600? Give me your opinion:) Also, will i still need to use a SSF or will it react more like a very large ported box?

Audioholic, is that sould need, or shouldn't need?

I figured...Thanks guys, i'll post something on it tomorrow if i get time to build a 1.5" think board decent enough to keep both waves away from each other....
