Can I interchange this sub in my 4th order bandpass?

I have 15" sub in a 4th order bandpass, but want to switch to a more powerful sub in the same box. Here are the spec. on the two subs.

Current sub

Qts 0.39

Qes 0.42

Fs 24.2

Vas 3.87

rms power/max 800/1600

Xmax 12

New sub

Qts 0.45

Qes 0.49

Fs 23.6

Vas 4.33

rms power/max 1000/4000

What new sub are you looking at specifically. Vas is quite a bit higher on the new sub.. Give us your actual box specs and I'm sure we can recommend a good replacement for you.. Just off the top of my head DC level 3's and AA Chaos both do well in 4th orders, as well as a sundown X
