Can an LOC be used in reverse?

Ok, so I think I've got it figured out. I'll be wiring the MS8 in place of the factory amp, which will in turn feed signal to my Diamond amp for the sub. I'm assuming the 18 watts rms @4ohm or 30 watts rms @2ohm will drive the interior speakers as well as, or better than the factory amp.

i think it will be a night and day difference - even before the JBL tuning features.
