Littering and...
The previous thread about the differences in cabin gain between a truck and an Suv got me thinking. In the next week or two, I am going to trade my Z71 in on a new accord for my fiance and I am going to get her 01 Explorer Sport. I was hoping you guys were right and the same setup would be louder in the suv. So i tested it.

My subs as they sit in my truck. Two 10in Type E's in 2.75 FT^3 @ 32 hz

Fosgate 3001 about 175w a piece
The songs I used for the test were Doffo- Atmospheric Mudvayne- Determined and for fun Master P- Burbons n Lacs
To keep most things equal I simply ran a wire from the amp in my truck to the box in the Expy

The results:
In my truck, the subs were pretty loud and very accurate, Good SQ:toast:
In the Explorer, subs were very loud but not near as accurate, Good Spl
eace:
The worst part is that until I put the subs in the SUV I never heard the port noise from my box:thumbsdo:
