Bye Bye GM....Thanx Liberals....

I will agree, japs make strong *** motors. I piss pounded my integra alot and it started for me everyday. I however dont feel the motor makes the car.
In the past 9-10 years ever since the new and newest GM truck body styles, the build quality has dropped. But the way my 91 Integra felt inside was way cheaper feeling then my 94 Tahoe.
LOL cmon man, compare apples to apples, of coarse a 15k car is gonna feel cheaper than a 30k suv. come sit in my 4runner and tell me if your GM feels nicer lol

Why?
When Honda was first introduced as a company what was its main Competition? Where wasn't very many economy cars at the time. The problem isn't something new, its years upon years of building on top of it.

I'm just going to agree to disagree here as I have a different opinion on the matter. I'm not saying your wrong, I however do not agree.
So wouldn't you say honda perfected itself upon years and years of development?

he's one in a million. next time you see a flatbed tow truck look and see if it's a domestic or import. 9 out of 10 time it's a domestic.
Around my area i see about 50 50 for each. Both have issues and both have their great points. Personally I have 2 old GMs and love them 1995 cutlass with over 190k and no issues and a 1993 s10 blazer with over 175k and only issue was a starter.

Why isnt it being tapped? Cause liberals are trying there hardest to cease drilling... Your buddy is a pencil pushin number cruncher..... he hasnt seen it in person I bet.... just sits in a lab or at a desk and looks at a screen.....
you listen way tooo much to Rush and NRA radio. I do agree that some of the extreme liberals are pushing to prevent drilling in those areas. I live in Louisiana which is the only state that can handle it's own if each state had to fend for itself. we produce enough oil, food, natural gas, etc... to support our state.

as for you comments on my friend, if his pencil pushin number crunchin' *** wasn't working thousands of ppl wouldn't be working. his team of engineers designs platforms and drilling stations all over the country and help get ppl working. btw he votes democrat.

he's talking about some place by his house, his location says Wyo. as for the refuge that would be ANWR. there is no way to determine if or how much oil is actually their.
I actually have 10 rigs about a mile from my house on my uncles land, on one pad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

There drilling for coal bed methane A.K.A... Natural Gas

You also have to look at how many of each vehicle you have in yoru area, my area is dominated by domestics, because of so many chevy/ford dealerships and only 1 honda dealer in the area. so it is a rarity to see a broke down foreign

I do not believe my tahoe was 30k new but I;m not sure.. I sit in alot of cars from my dads work. I have sat in a Viper, and it feels horrible inside. I have also sat in 08 and 09 Civics, they feel okay, but I still feel a cheapness to them. As for the 4runner, If we compair generation to generation My tahoe feels much nicer then my budddies 95 4runner.

You're comparing two different cars.

How about you compare the 91 integra to a 91 Cavalier?

He votes democrat..... so he votes for people that are against his job.... and he's an engineer???

Our type of engineering deals with the layers of shell in our area and ways to extract the oil better and how much is down there and if its cost effective to drill.

And you say he gives people a job?!?!? But by voting democrat you know he just took them right away right? We have 45 rigs layed over in this area... almost 6000 layoffs in the past 2 weeks cause of Obama.... The rigs by me are on there last holes...... And BP is laying off people... which in turn Shell and Encana and Exxon are to... So he is really smart

And what do you mean the only state to handle its own? Wyoming actually has more natural resources than Louisiana... even including wildlife... In which a lot of people who work for our company moved here from Louisiana...

WV is in far better shape, we can convert coal to liquid and have gas, plus we are one of VERY few states operating under a surplus.

Louisiana may be energy independant, but all it takes is 1 gulf hurricane and your done for.

For trucks and SUV's american dominates by far. Cars I would say probably 60 40 american

No they have not. No car is perfect. If there was we would only have one car running around. I think Honda is much better then it has been but not perfect. Personaly I would take a Civic over a Cavalier, but If I had to buy it brand new for the same price I'd take the cavalier if it was for driving only. The aftermarket work with Honda's has help them alot too.

and gm hasnt changed anything substantial in 20 years LOL
Not true. Look at the Volt. And there was also GM's electric cars before any jap companies made any.
