And you want a gas guzzling car thats got power and speed? IMO...not a good combination for college kid.

Unless mom and pop are gonna help cover gas and other things....

if you are going to start college soon, don't plan on being able to make car payments. its totally true that once you walk on campus you are instantly broke as fuck. maybe buy an $8-10k car that you can pay off before you start school. making car payments alongside paying for books and tuition will just net you bad credit, and a shit-ton of debt

i just started college as a freshman at WSU, i pay for college myself, and i just bought myself a $22,000 chevy avalanche. Its very possible if he works hard.

I have money stored away (not much), a fat down payment because of parting my truck out, my mom gives me and my brother our child support from our dad, I work a part-time job (and develop websites on the side)... money isn't the issue guys.

I don't see why you would want a 20k car @ age 17.....unless you have rich *** parents, who bought your car for you.
