How Can I Test My Internet Connection speed?

I got this new internet. Dijis sattelite internet. Its slow shit. Not as bad as dial up but its definetely not 100.0 mbps which thats what my local area connection says.

Anyone know a good place to test my speed, or possibly know what could be wrong?

1196 kbs download and 571upload

If thats the case then how come when I download things they download at 6kbs per second?

There is lots of people downloading what I am downloading right now on limewire and its still slow. Even loading youtube is slow

Depends where the servers location is, what else you are downloading, if you are downloading a torrent depends how many seeders there are

Im talking downloading things with lots of seeders. When the torrent is in the green.

If your downloading a torrent you might want to change your upload limit on your client. The seeders may be blocking people that dont seed much. Ex. Your load limit might be set at 1kbps and they block that so make it like 50kbps and you might see an increase

Probally have to go to Options>Preferences> and Either in Downloads or Connections change a setting that has to do with uploading
