Buying a new car... Advice?

Im looking for a car that gets good gas mileage(30+mpg), good for BASS, and is reliable. Something like a 4cyl gas hatchback.

I was thinking about a Honda CRX, but it only has 2seats. So maybe just a Honda Civic Hatchback? But is there anything else out there that would be good?

My budget is 3-5k

im not gonna lie.. i think grand prix's were made to have subs in them lol..

i have a grand prix gtp and its like the car and my sub were a match made in heaven.. i listen to my friends sub in his alero and stuff rattles from the inside.. it sucks to hear rattle and loose shit inside the car.. if you're gonna get into car audio with it i suggest maybe not getting a grand prix with bose... its a pain in the *** to bypass that factory amp and if u wanna put new speakers in you gotta tear it out and everything.. its not too big of a deal but its an annoyance

Ditch that short ram, hot air intake though because it serves no other purpose than to look cool and make more noise when VTEK kicks in (assuming the car has VTEK).

ETA: JDM d15z motor swap for the loss //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif If they check emissions in your area, you could have issues passing with a JDM engine.

yea, its a little ricy, but nothing that cant be fixed. Im wondering if that gas mileage is right? But the car looks pretty good and has low miles.... Also its soundproofed (supposedly)

personally never owned one...i now few guys that have a couple

but they're high powered and boosted

if it helps its a 2.0 4 cyl...im guessing 25 mpg all around easy

The d15z is a great MPG engine. IIRC, you can put a D16Y8 head on it for better performance. They used to call it the mini-me swap.

thats why you should look for a local usdm motor...preferably a h22 or b20

Yeah, the owner is probably trying to get back his money on the non-performance engine swap and other ricer addons.
