Bussbar and battery question

Hey guys,

So im shopping around for agm batteries where i live (kenya).

It seems that most batterys terminal posts are still the old school type ones. Not the new screw terminal posts.

Can i drill a small hole in each post and thread the hole so i can screw on bussbars?

And are bussbars any better than 0gauge wire?

Hope i made my question clear. Help is appreciated.

You can use battery terminals and 0 gauge wires. They have battery terminals like this that can be use for buss bars on a regular battery.

depending on what your doing buss bars re build for 2 things. proper bonding between larger banks and proper current transfer. what the said battery post it is only permitted for a single conductor. you NEVER stack conductors..

Thanks for the reply guys. I was looking at those terminals. But like papermaker said, i wasnt sure if its good to stack. So terminal post - terminal clamp - bussbar. If i need to go that route i will. Thanks again for the replies.
