Bumping it with the car off

Yep it kills it. But really, why would you wanna bump with the car off, if you spend that much time in your car your pretty lonely. You could buy an iso, but it's worthless to me.

to smoke weed. i used to do it all the time.

or when your in a park having a party and u need loud azz beatz its nice to be able to bump w/o having to waste gas

Um ok so hes still killing the battery, maybe not the one to start the car but hes still going to deep cycle the battery, and thats not good no matter what battery your running.
Yeah, but 400 watts really isn't much, not even for a stock delco or whatever. I used to bump my car at bonfire parties all the time for 2-3 hours & just start my car for 10 minutes or so & never had a problem. It takes more then a few drains to kill a battery.

I foolishly did it once. I think I only meant to to fiddle with my x-overs or something for a few minutes but I couldn't get it just right so I ended up running the radio with the engine off for a lot longer than I planned to.

I didn't think to make a note of the time but I'd say it took maybe somewhere between 2 and 3 hours and the battery died on my 04 Dakota. 5 year old oem battery, only about 600 watts RMS total.
