So after doing some measurements in my car, a 94 seville i found out I can fit an 18" but it would pretty much cover the trunk top to bottom.

I guess my only question is if I fill up the width as well would that block a lot of the sound\bass from entering into the car.

I'm looking at an sa 18 ported or possible an sundown x 18

Any imput is appreciated Thanks

But if it would be best to have the board pretty much flush against my back seats i don't think I have 18" that far back

Update: Never mind that would definitely work

I was thinking something like this with sub and port firing directly into the cabin. Make sure you seal around the edges

Ahhh that makes sense, Thanks for the pic. I could possibly do something like that but it wouldnt be actually into the ca b of my car because of the caddy's awesome electrical and Bose setup.. I'll try to upload a pic

Haha that setups ******!

But yeah I'm still trying to install a new head unit with the weird *** Bose system it blowsss lol but good to know I appreciate the feedback

that pic is kinda a close up of my trunk, its a big trunk if i did my math right I easily have 9 cf of space but if I try to do a similar setup to that DC audio I think you're definitely right with going to a 15" instead

I just found a super clean idq 15" coils perfect for 60$!!! Offered the guy 100 to ship but he won't....

But I don't want to wast anyone's time considering I haven't picked out a sub yet.. I'll likely just grab the best deal I can find and will shoot for a 15 to leave my options open.

Thanks guys

L x w x h but you will have to subtract 1.5 from each for wood thickness. Get the cubic feet then subtract the space subwoofer will take up and a rough estimate of 20 percent of the enclosure volume for the space the port takes up.
