if you get high tunes, they are just going to sound loud, and all boomy, then it starts to distort.

with low notes. it sounds very clean. especially if you have a good front stage. then it'll all sound very nice.

what type box are tyou going to buit??

What type of ports are you looking at????

you need to make sure you have enough room for your ports to breath & you dont want your sub flexing against your trunk, just make sure you enough room for the box,subs & ports.

plus you'll need to deaden your trunk also, YES your trunk does & will flex. which to me with it deadener your bass will sound like a tin can booming, some guys like that tin can flex

if you do it right it will it low & your sides will fex but not like a tin can.

are you going to work on your sub box or front stage first?????????

take one at a time or you'll find yourself in a mess.

YEAH i think thats my PROBLEM. cause everyones custom boxes subs, i hear, they are LOUD, and i hear NO RATTLING IN THE TRUNK. but in MY CAR. i can't even HEAR MY BASS that much because ALL I HEAR IS SHITTT TRUNK RATTLING. maybe a custom box will help? idk. my trunk sounds VERY BADDD.it sounds worse than the tin can boooming. so maybe i should do the box?

the box, is goin to be rectangular, using 3/4 MDF, rectangular ports,

but that the thing, idk how to determine the air space, how big to make the box, the port, all that non sense. how to tune the port. :[ but i think if i do have the RIGHT CUSTOM BOX, it's going to sound very nice.

im still debating. I REALY NEED TO FIX MY FRONT STAGE cause im taking it to the shop that i bought it from on friday. to see if theres problems because there is over heating. when gains are +1/2 so idk

i had these subs a while ago and when i had them they were in 4 cubes tuned to 33hz

just rap. in a cavalier they did a 140.3 in that box off of an overrated power acoustik amp. then i switched to sub up port back with a flared port and it was even louder but it was still 4 cubes at 33hz
