Build time on SSA subs

my buddy has been waiting almost 4 months for his evil 15s. this is ridiculous.

he missed enough shows to the point where no matter how good the sub is, its not worth it. Lets just say he's super p*ssed getting the run around by Dan at FI.

Seems they got bigger than they can handle. Either a new build house or stop taking orders. I see on the website now a lot of the subwoofers aren't available till July. And then they have to build them which could lead to October

Just about every build house (besides sundown, idk how they do it) will take a bit of time.
I'd rather wait to get usa, hand built, human inspected products.

I've ordered from SSA three times, I've gotten my items within 3 days, two weeks, and 2 months. Just depends on what you order.

Thats a shame you got that issue with the coils, hope it works out.

Well this is a bit discouraging. I ordered a D1 icon 12 on April 22nd. And a D1 recone on the april 28th.

No,more like it got dropped from 20 feet in the air. Never seen such destruction

My xcon 10 took about a month. So a little over the estimated time but not bad. And to know that it was hand made is pretty sweet.

a big part of me would say refund my money and ill go somewhere else. 4 months is ridiculous unless they said 3+ months to begin with

they said 21 days. Then its the "next week we'll have it" run around. You'd think these fkers would have parts on hand... not take people's money then order the top/bottom plates and have it shipped by boat from china and get delayed with customs etc and have the customers suffer that wait.

sad thing is he's on team SSA lol. he got them at team pricing and has been thinking of cancelling for awhile already. Just looking for better woofers in the mean time for a decent price. Just ***** for SSA for them to be dragged down due to FI's shortcomings. Anything else i order from them arrives in perfect time.
