Today I had a few hours to kill so I did two doors with soundqubed dyno mat.

Man what a difference! Night and day change.

I have only used dyno mat once and that was small, like maybe 24x12 on the top of cab.

I used to think the sound mat was to costly and put my money in other places.

I bought the suv kit so I will be doing the whole cab of my 08 ext cab z71.

Money well spent.

Today I did other two doors and it sounds amazing.

Still have Walmart pioneers 6.5's running off hu. Up till today it's always hurt my head.

Now the pioneers sound pretty good. Can't wait till I put components in and amp them.

Next will be sound deaden the roof and behind rear seat.

Everything is in, I have the tool to crimp wire terminals, my 2nd alt came in and just the other day my dual alt bracket got in.

Now if it just wasn't so blame cold out......I really want to hear what this 7k amp can do!

Its nice not to hear any road noise in the cab..I cant hear anything in my truck going 75+ with dual exhaust.All the deadening is worth it.Being patient and taking time to do a clean install and reaping the benefits later are the icing on the cake.Ive had to listen to an Ipod for a few months..that blowed azz.It actually sounded better than the stock system in that vehicle:santa:

No..Its a 98 third door/Xcab Silverado sir..and Yes..I have a 97 also same make and model third door..That 5.7l vortec seems to run forever..taken care of

A lot of us use another web hosting site such as imgur to post up pics. Imgur is easy and free...site is fast too and no ads much like what Photopoop had.

Planned on being done or at least installed by now.

Last job I did the chain saw slung a wood chip in my eye, made a hole and got infected.

That was 10 day ago, Friday my eye dr sent me to little rock to eye specialist and was told its fungul. Looks like I'll be down for two more weeks or longer .......

Guess I need a better pair of safety glasses as I was wearing them when this happened.

Just wondering if you were wearing eye protection at that time? We only have a set of eyes....no replacements, unfortunately.
