Do you know if the SEs sound good sealed though? I have always heard that they sound nice ported but I don't want to give up 8 cubes for them to be ported.

Ok. I have recieved more comments on the SEs that are in my price range compared to any other sub. So I think I am going to stick with two 15" SEs.

Are there any other amps that are in the same price range as the Hifonics? Are they over-rated or do they really push out 1500 watts? What else could I get in that price range?

you aint gonna get 1500w out of it, but it will be fine on the SEs.

Really. Ok I only need 1200 watts to get full power out of the SEs.

So $430 for the subs and then $235 for the Brutus amp. So the total comes up to be $665. I have about $235 for a HU. I know that is plenty. How much will wiring for the everything cost?

One quick question. I was just looking at the stats for the Hifonics Brutus BX1500D amp and it says:

500 x 1 @ 4 ohms. The RE SEs are 4 ohms and I will be getting two of these. So does that mean that the amp won't hardly be powering the subs. Or can the subs be wired down to 2 ohms or even 1 ohm? I don't understand all of this ohm crap so can someone explain it to me or suggest another amp.

the subs can be wired down to 1 ohm, so you will get max power out of the amp.
