Build me a system?

Well first off I have read for a while but not had anything to post. So the question is what would y'all suggest for a sound system.

I just bought a '95 Camaro and don't have the time or energy to start from the ground up on the sound system... The unfortunate thing is that it was prewired for subs, but they did a bad job/didn't know what they were doing so I tore that out. Also the HU is busted so I need a new one. I think I will keep the speakers the guy put in, they sound decent and I want to keep costs down.

PRICE IS NOT AN ISSUE. That being said I am not one to get the most expensive thing, I prefer that it is high quality but not overly expensive... if that makes sense. Basically I can afford to spend the money for good stuff but would rather not.

Headunit: Jensen VM9312HD this is the one/kind I would like but not dead set on if there are much better options.

Speakers: Suggestions?

Sub: Don't want anything larger than 10", just something that I can feel but isn't unbearable.

Amps: ?

Misc./Install Equipment: ?

How can I get the best power/sound? I am mostly into listening not the amount of noise that can be made.

You're a funny guy. Price is not an issue, but you don't want to do it right the first time. Get a budget and you can get a ton of system suggestions.

I've done it before, like I said I don't have time or energy... this is the longest I have been able to do anything for 2 weeks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I don't have a budget. I want to do it right the first time, just don't want to spend top dollar if that makes sense.

well since price isnt important and you want to do it right the first time, ill go with al alpine deck, probably 9887, some Focal or CDT componants, idmax 10" subwoofer, and either zapco or alpine pdx amps. good luck!

Headunit: 800PRS

Speakers: 720PRS

Sub: 102.7W

Amps: PDX-5

Misc./Install Equipment: KFX-AK44 and KARSS2.6M

Wire the comps up active through the headunit using channels 1-4 of the amp. Wire the sub to channel 5 of the amp at 4 ohms.

Forget about rear speakers... you likely won't miss them with a properly installed and tuned front+sub only setup.
