The T-Bird had the middle of front bumper painted and the hood isnt the one that was on the car from the factory, that was painted also.

Well the basket showed up, going to clean it up a little to get it prepped for paint. Thats probably all Im going to get done tonight though.

Going to the Woodward Dream Cruise and probably to my buddies going away party.

Small update......cleaned the hell outta the basket and sprayed some primer on it....pics uploading

I cleaned up the basket with a grinder and surface prep disc, then sprayed a coat of primer, sanded it down some more, and then did another light coat.

Just going to spray the outer cases black and then put some chrome headed hex screws or something in the holes for the end caps.

This has been such a long day......first I go out and clean my garage up fairly early today. Then I proceed to start sanding down my rockers for paint.

I start gettin into it and notice im going to have to take a lot of paint off to clean up the metal a lot.....well....not quite so easy.

Basically I sanded the driver side rocker, small spot in rear wheel well, an area in the door opening, the inside bottom part of the door, and the front part of the rocker as well as that wheel well.

I did all this...and....not too bad.....then Im under the car with the angle grinder and surface prep disc cleaning up the entire bottom side of the rocker.

Only to come across this little hole. Im like shit, Im gonna have to start cutting and welding....well.....needless to say yes, lots of cutting.

One thing leads to another and I come to find most of the rear part of the rocker is gone. And I thought there wasnt any areas rusted through....HA!

Will finish tommorow....today has been too much
