Well, no chance to make the box. My pops is out working on his sled...

Okay, well I have been finishing up this semester at school and I only have one exam left. After thursday I will have three weeks until classes start again. Im hoping to knock out most of the audio stuff in my first two weeks off. Im desperate to hurry things up now due to the transmission dieing quickly in my car. I need to finish this stuff up so I can get to work getting the motor and ***** in.

Heres some pics of what Ive been messing around with so far. The box is pretty set and it looks like thats what it will be. I will have a false floor across the entire trunk, using 1/2" for the area under the enclosure and 3/4" for the rest. The battery is now going in the spare tire well too.

Im completey stuck on what to do with my amps, but Ill cross that bridge when I get there.

why not have the port forward? I thought you were sealin the trunk off? Amps on deck lid?

No its not going to be sealed off or anything. I want to be able to show everything off in the trunk.

But if I want to fire the port forward, the front face of the box will have to be 90 degrees or fiberglassed and I wouldnt be able to run a false floor due to my height restrictions. Which leads to an angled face and the port at the side.

I actually think it might perform better though with the port firing to the side. It will be the first time trying it in this type of car, but it has worked well in some smaller vehicles.

Not to mention it will slide it a lot easier too and I have lots of room to play with the length of the port as long as Im careful not to bring it too close to the woofer.

The first thing Im gonna try to do is stuff the 250.2 and 450.2 in the spare tire well with the battery. Im not too sure how that will work out though. Hopefully I can at least get the 250.2 in there.

Ideally I would like the front stage amps to be permanent and not interfere with swapping the substage in the future.

Worst case scenario, the front stage amps get stuck behind the back seat and sort of hidden.

cleen metal than weld much more penatration and a lot cleaner weld sory im a tech and it hurt my eys a little

Dont worry it was clean.....it had to be if I was expecting any weld at all, cant weld on paint. I just didnt clean all around the area I was welding.
