Just got my stuff in from Exile. 4 12" XPs and an Exile 2400.1

Got a decent amount of stuff done today. Got the wood cut, the ports screwed and fiberglassed in, and got all the sub holes cut. We were gonna do more, but it started raining/snowing.

The box is 9.033 cubes before displacement. Should be about 8.5 after everything is put in. Tuned to around 35hz.

We got the ports a lot more flush after the pics were taken, and resined to make sure it was air tight.

Got them from Mark Potts awhile back, and just getting around to using them again. The stuff on the lip is dried wood glue that I haven't sanded off. On the old box I was using, the ports were external and i was just using it to get a good seal.

I didnt mean the wood glue, I just expected more "flare" like the PSP kits...

Hmmm, can't quite remember. I got the whole box from him....still regret spending that money to this day.

Well...PSP's flared 6" is $32 for me...dont know about ya'll, but that stll aint cheap...

I went out and measured. The ports are 6" with an 8" flare. I think the pictures just don't do them justice. They just don't have as big of a lip on them like the Precision Ports.

We haven't finished putting it together. We were going to, but it was too damn cold.

So we are gonna try again either tomorrow or Thursday.
