This one actually has a longer coil than the "stock" Nightshade so it'll take 1500 pretty easily on the thermal side. I also cut out the hole in the basket bottom and, combined with the basket spacers, increases the clearance for the center of the spider to move rearward.

Stiffened up more and with the new cooling option applied running a 3000-watt amp on music would be okay - but your FS would be very high with that much stiffness on the 10" driver.

This doesn't mean you could run a 3000-watt sine wave to it continuously - but you could run a 3kw amp on it for music.

Because I can, and I do. I love high powered setups. I have about 4 subs that can take 3000+ daily and was just looking to add to my collection.

the box is built after buying the plexi so the box was built to fit the plexi on it.

cost was like 50 bucks i think
